Eutelia

Eutelia is an integrated carrier of ICT (Information & Communication Technology), capable to offer services of Telecommunications (TLC) and Information Technology (IT) at 360 degrees.

The Eutelia Group is the first Italian carrier capable to offer, besides the telephony solution and broadband, also ICT integrated solutions for Public administration and large Companies, for the Retail market (voice, data, internet/VoIP, VPNs, wireless networks, WiFi, prepaid cards, IT services) and for the Wholesale market (infrastructures offer, VAS services, services for Carriers, ISP and Reseller).

Eutelia is one of the main national telecommunications carrier for invoice (about 450 millions of euros in 2006) and extension of proprietary network (about 13.000 Km) and has more than 3000 employees in 23 bases on all the national territory.

Eutelia is quoted at the Italian Stock Exchange since January 2005.

Up until today Eutelia obtained the CSQ Certification, sector EA/31b, for the tested correspondence of its own Quality System to the requests of the Norm UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, and the CSQ Certification - DATA, based on the Norm ISO 27001:2005 regarding its own Management System of the Information Security.

The strong points are: the realised proprietary network; the proprietary technology developed at network and systems levels; the insourcing strategy of all the activities connected to the management and the development of services.

History

The Group was born at Arezzo in 1998 as Plug it, a local Internet Service Provider, becoming in 1999 telecommunications carrier.

On January 1st 2004, from the fusion between the companies Plug It and Edisontel, comes out Eutelia.

Eutelia, on the strong Telecommunications market of synthesis and competence integration, presents assets and services taken from Plug It and Edisontel.

On March 2nd 2004, Plug It Spa changes name in Eutelia Spa, completing this way the union between Plug It and Edisontel, after the acquisition that took place in August 2003.

In the same year the Group buys Nts (company quoted at the new market and operative in media and internet sectors) and Noicom, Telecommunications Carrier of North-Vest Italy.

Starting from the union of these two realties, Eutelia continues the work of constructing an Italian Telecommunication pole.

In 2006, Eutelia enters in the Information Technology sector trough the acquisition from the shared Eunics of the Italian activities of the Getronics and bull groups.

In 2006, with the project Saudi Arabia, starts the development of the international start-up strategy that expends to Tanzania, Liberia, Qatar, Niger, Morocco, Tunisia, Kosovo, Moldavia and Bulgaria.

In 2007 Eutelia buys Calling Card Company Group (C3) and Alpha Telecom, two of the main providers in the world for the offer of international prepaid cards.

The Network

Eutelia covers most of the North and the Centre of Italy offering technology with fibre optic capability that transmits 10 times faster than the standard rate.

Proprietary technology

Eutelia uses, in all telecommunications services, proprietary software technology that makes its service offer unique and exclusive in the world telecommunications market. Each service features operating and control functionalities that can be used by the customer through an internet interface by means of a standard web browser.

Eutelia has operating offices in Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Rumania, Slovakia, Hungary, UK and Ukraina.
